Canoe Safari  Västerdalälven River

Have you always wanted to canoe on one of the most important and beautiful river in Dalarna and see Dalarnas unique landscape from a different angle? Then this canoe Safari is definitely something for you!

 

Under the guidance of an experienced wilderness guide we go out on the Västerdalälven river.The Västerdalälven river together with the Österdalälven eventually form the river dalälven, and makes it is one of the longest rivers in Sweden. The Dalälven River starts in Norway and ends in the Baltic Sea. Along the way, explanations will be given about the fl ora and wildlife that you may encounter during the trip. We sail past a beaver lodges and if we are lucky the beavers may show themself. Halfway the trip we stop at a nice location where we serve various fi ka sandwiches, tea and coffee will be made over a campfi re. After the Fika we slowly return to the location where we started.

The Kano Safari Västerdalälven River is available from June 1 to September 31.
